Betty F. Boyce died Thursday, June 28, 2007, at her home in Americus. She was 81.

The memorial service for Betty F. Boyce of Americus will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Americus United Methodist Church. Mrs. Boyce was cremated. The private family inurnment service will be in the Dunlap Cemetery at Dunlap.
The family suggests that, instead of flowers, memorial contributions be made to Hand in Hand Home Care and Hospice in Emporia and sent in care of Penwell-Gabel Council Grove Chapel, 137 N. Union St., Council Grove, KS 66846.

Mrs. Boyce died Thursday, June 28, 2007, at her home in Americus. She was 81.
She was a homemaker and also helped her husband in many businesses. Earlier, she taught school in a one-room country school for three years.
The daughter of H. Clarence and Cordia Mitchell Featherkile, she was born July 15, 1925, in rural Strong City. She married E.M. Boyce on June 23, 1946. He survives.
Mrs. Boyce was a member of the United Methodist Church and Women’s Society of Christian Service.
She is also survived by one son, Steven L. Boyce of Reading, and six grandchildren, including those who live in this area, Sally K. Boyce and Brooks Boyce, both of Burlington, and Shawn Wood of Reading. A brother died in infancy. A sister, Opal George, also died earlier.
