Frank M. Mishler, Admire

Frank M. Mishler of Admire died Thursday, June 28, 2007, at Colmery O’Neil Veterans Administration Hospital in Topeka. He was 76.
Mr. Mishler worked at IBP for 20 years before he retired. He previously worked at Fanestil Packing for 13 years.
The son of Henry Lewis and Mabel Mae Barker Mishler, he was born April 24, 1931, in Cherryvale. He was married and divorced. He married Marie Kessler on Jan 24, 1996, at Osage City. She survives.
Mr. Mishler was a member of the Osage City Baptist Temple in Osage City.
He is also survived by three daughters, Cheryl Mahanes and Jeannie Ledford, both of Kansas City, and Eileen Lane of Lee’s Summit; one son, Darrell Mishler of Sylvan Grove; five stepdaughters, Josie O’Brien and Sandra Sue Christian, both of Osage City, Virginia Lee Curwick of Admire, Doris D. Villareal of Salt Lake City, Utah, and Myrna Morinta Parker of Portland, Ore.; two stepsons, Richard Lee Meyersick of Overbrook and Georege William Meyersick of Topeka; four sisters, Ruth Mishler of Coffeyville, Dorothy Cole and Betty Pouge, both of Independence and Helen Fleenor of Winfield; five brothers, Art Mishler of Neodesha, Harry Mishler of Wichita, Carl Mishler and Dale Mishler, both of Independence and Harold Mishler of Cherryvale; and many grandchildren.
Three sisters and a brother died earlier.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at the Osage City Baptist Temple in Osage City. Burial, with military services, will be in Admire Cemetery at Admire. The family will meet friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the VanArsdale Funeral Chapel in Osage City. Friends also may call from 3 to 8 p.m. Tuesday.
