Edward E. Aeschliman

The funeral for Edward E. Aeschliman of rural Emporia will be at 11 a.m. Friday in the Roberts-Blue-Barnett Funeral Home. The Rev. Mark Demas of the Virgil United Methodist Church will conduct the service. Burial will be in Virgil Cemetery. The family will meet friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Mr. Aeschliman died Sunday, Jan. 28, 2007, at Stormont-Vail Hospital in Topeka. He was 60.
Mr. Aeschliman was a maintenance supervisor at Dolly Madison for more than 40 years.
The son of Harvey L. and Wilma M. Storrer Aeschliman, he was born Feb. 21, 1946, at Emporia. He married Marsha Buckridge on May 22, 1965, at Cottonwood Falls. She survives.
Mr. Aeschliman was a member of the National Rifle Association and Ducks Unlimited.
He is also survived by three sons, David Aeschliman of Emporia and Randall Aeschliman and Douglas Aeschliman, both of Skiatook, Okla.; his mother of Virgil; two brothers, Ron Aeschliman of Virgil and Dennis Aeschliman of Emporia; two sisters, Lucille Barb of Olpe and Linda Snyder of Hamilton; and eight grandchildren. His father and two brothers, Don Aeschliman and Jimmy Aeschliman, died earlier.
