Virginia B. Smith, Osage City
Virginia B. Smith, 87, died Wednesday, Jan. 17, 2007, at Peterson Nursing Home in Osage City.
Private family services will be held at a later date. Mrs. Smith has been cremated.
She was born Sept. 18, 1919, the daughter of Archie and Louise A. Bernhart Morris. She married Earl J. Smith on Oct. 16, 1938, in San Diego, Calif. He died Jan. 31, 1991.
Mrs. Smith is survived by a son, Jim Smith of Osage City, and a daughter, Diane Johnson of Redwood, Calif. Five grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren also survive, as does a sister, Pat Morris of Seattle.
Another sister, Phyllis Smith, died earlier.
