Iris J. Dye, Salina

Neosho Rapids native Iris J. Dye died Tuesday, Jan. 16, 2007, in Salina. She was 77.
Iris J. Bollinger was born May 10, 1929 in Neosho Rapids. She graduated from Topeka High School and attended Emporia State University. She married Max Dye on May 30, 1948, in Topeka. He survives.
Mrs. Dye worked as an admissions clerk and switchboard operator at Ashbury Hospital before her retirement.
She was a member of University United Methodist Church and Lady Elks Lodge 718.
Other survivors include two sons, Jeff Dye of Salina and Fred Dye of Peoria, Ariz.; one daughter, Barbara Dye of Lawrence; one sister, Barbara Willoughby of Waco, Texas; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
One son, David Dye, died on Sept. 6, 1997.
The funeral for Mrs. Dye will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at University United Methodist Church in Salina. Burial will be at Roselawn Cemetery in Salina.
