Donna Charlene Miller

Donna Charlene Miller, a resident of the Flint Hills Care Center died Monday, Jan. 15, 2007, at Newman Regional Health. She was 74.
Mrs. Miller was a homemaker.
The daughter of Harry W. and Hazel Kolb Furst, she was born March 8, 1932, at Corning. She married Dwain L. Miller on Nov. 23, 1952, at Topeka. He died July 17, 2000, at Emporia.
Mrs. Miller was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
She is survived by three sons, Delbert Miller of Emporia, Don Miller of Madison and Dale Miller of Andover; one daughter, Deanna Miller-Ditzler of San Diego, Calif.; one brother, William Furst of Topeka; two sisters, Emma Samek of Topeka and Joyce Linderman of Meriden; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. A brother, Walter Furst, and a sister, Bessie Furst, died earlier.
The private graveside service will be held at a later date in Memorial Lawn Cemetery. The Rev. Chuck Hayes of the Flint Hills Christian Church will conduct the service. The family will meet friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Jan. 24 at the Roberts-Blue-Barnett Funeral Home. Mrs. Miller was cremated.
