Harold E. Miller, Lebo
Harold E. Miller died Sunday, Jan. 14, 2007, at his home in Lebo. He was 70.
Mr. Miller was an over-the-road truck driver for 42 years, working the last 22 years for Dillon’s Grocery out of Hutchinson. He served in the National Guard.
The son of Elmer L. and Treva A. Thomas Miller, he was born Dec. 30, 1936, in Anthony. He married Donna Ormsby-Parker on Feb. 28, 1993, in Lebo. She survives.
Mr. Miller was a member of the Emmanuel Baptist Church in Scott City. He also was a member of the Teamsters Union Local 795.
He is survived by six sons, Jeff Miller, David Miller and Ron Miller, all of Hutchinson, Jerrold Parker of Osage City, Cecil Parker of Quenemo, and Tony Parker of Spring Hill, Tenn.; three daughters, Kathy Herzberg of Wichita, Debbie Fischer of Hutchinson and Tonya Newkirk of Point of Rocks, Md.; one brother, Richard L. Miller of Hutchinson; one sister, Marilyn McKinnis of Hutchinson; 22 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
The memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Jones Funeral Home at Lebo. Mr. Miller was cremated.
