Dorothy L. Fankhauser , Madison

The funeral for Dorothy L. Fankhauser of Madison will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in the First Christian Church at Madison. The Rev. Bob Robison will conduct the service. Burial will be in Number Eight Cemetery, east of Madison.
The family suggests that, instead of flowers, memorial contributions be made to the First Christian Church in Madison and sent in care of the Wilson Funeral Home, P.O. Box 488, Madison 66860.
Mrs. Fankhauser died Saturday, Jan. 13, 2007, at Holiday Resort in Emporia. She was 93.
She was a homemaker.
The daughter of Clyde and Mable Eaton Osborn, she was born Oct. 9, 1913, at Moline. She grew up in Olpe and graduated from Olpe High School. She came to the Madison Community in 1934 from Olpe.
She married George W. Fankhauser on Feb. 14, 1934, at Emporia. He died Dec. 7, 1984.
Mrs. Fankhauser was a member of the First Christian Church in Madison. She was a past member of the Home Culture Club.
She is survived by one son, Richard Fankhauser of Madison; one daughter, Betty Schaulis of Sedona; six grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. One daughter, Shirley Buckley; and one brother died earlier.
