Glenda Jo Barker, Pratt
Emporia native Glenda Jo Barker of Pratt died Tuesday, Jan. 9, 2007, at Southwind Hospice in Pratt. She was 57.
Mrs. Barker was a manager at Universal Oil for three years and later, worked at Data Net as file clerk in Derby for three years. She lived in Pratt and Wichita for most of her life.
The daughter of Dwight and Margaret Sutton Bazil, she was born Jan. 2, 1950, in Emporia. She graduated from Northern Heights High School in 1968.
She married Roy Dreiling on Jan. 26, 1968, in Wichita. They were divorced. She married Randal Barker on Aug. 19, 1977. They were divorced.
Mrs. Barker was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
She is survived by three daughters, Suzanne Nech and Stephanie Irvin, both of Osage City, and Jennifer Wittich of Ekhart; three sons, Robbie Dreiling and Scott Dreiling, both of Wichita, and Nicholas Barker of Pratt; two sisters, Marlena Martinez of Wichita and Jan Reynolds of Texas; two brothers, Ron Bazil of Wichita and Kenny Bazil of Texas; and 17 grandchildren.
Her parents; two brothers, Gene Bazil and Terry Bazil; and one daughter, Nicole Barker, died earlier.
The funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday in the Jones VanArsdale Funeral Home at Lebo. Burial will be in Hartford Cemetery.
