Michael Allen Coleman, Osage City

The funeral for Michael Allen Coleman will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in the Twin Lakes Foursquare Church at Osage City. Burial will be in Rapp Cemetery, west of Osage City. The family will meet friends from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Friday at the church.
Memorial contributions to the Michael Oscar “Mikey” Coleman Education Fund may be sent in care of the VanArsdale Funeral Chapel, 107 N. Sixth, Osage City, KS 66523.
Mr. Coleman died Monday, Jan. 1, 2007, of injuries sustained in a one-vehicle accident off Road 330 and Road S5 east of Admire. He was 29.
The son of Gary Lynn and Margaret Marie Rudolph Coleman, he was born Dec. 11, 1977, at Bakersfield, Calif. He graduated from Osage City High School and worked for Burlingame Concrete.
Mr. Coleman was a member of the Stotler Covenant Church in Osage City.
He is survived by a son, Michael “Mikey” Oscar Coleman of Sedalia, Mo.; his mother of Osage City; his father of Delaware, Ark.; six sisters, Robin Brown and Tammy Jackson, both of Osage City, Nancy Wessel of Reading, Barbara Thompson of Topeka, Laurie Chavasse of Charleston, S.C., and Christine Lee of Harris, Ark.; one brother, Robert Thompson of Portland, Ore.; and his grandfather, William “Bill” Coleman of Clinton, Ark.
