Alan T. Gomez, St. Louis, Mo
Emporia native Alan T. Gomez died Monday, Feb. 19, 2007, at his home in St. Louis, Mo. He was 60.
The son of Bennie and Deloris Giger Gomez, he was born Dec. 5, 1946, in Emporia.
Mr. Gomez is survived by one sister, Sharon Vernon of Emporia; and two brothers, Michael Gomez of St. Paul, Minn., and Stephen Gomez of Beaumont, Texas.
The graveside service will be at 3 p.m. Saturday in Memorial Lawn Cemetery at Emporia.
The family suggests that, instead of flowers, memorial contributions be made to AmHeart Hospice or the American Cancer Society and sent in care of the Kutis Funeral Home, 5255 Lemay Ferry Road, St. Louis, MO 63129.
