Stuart Mitchell Williams
Stuart Mitchell Williams of Emporia died Wednesday, Feb. 21, 2007, at Stormont-Vail Hospital in Topeka. He was 41.
Mr. Williams was disabled.
The son of Robert E. and Carolyn J. Landis Williams, he was born June 7, 1965, in Emporia. He graduated from Emporia High School and participated in cross country and track during high school. He was a member of Scout Troop 157.
Mr. Williams is survived by his mother of Emporia; three brothers, Jeff Williams of Emporia, Phil Williams of Olathe and Jeremy Williams of Gardner; and his grandmother, Doris Hicks-Williams of Garnett.
His father died in 2004. His grandparents, Edwin and Ruth Landis and Floyd and Edna Mae Williams, also died earlier.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the Farris-Feuerborn Memorial Chapels in Garnett. Burial will be in Garnett Cemetery at Garnett. The family will meet friends from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Sunday at Christ the King Church in Topeka.
