Robert W. Lee, Shawnee
Emporia native Robert W. Lee of Shawnee died Tuesday, Feb. 20, 2007. He was 76.
Mr. Lee, who was born in Emporia, was a teacher and administrator in Kansas for 37 years before he retired in 1987. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War.
He was a member of the Shawnee United Methodist Church.
Mr. Lee is survived by his wife, Donna Lee; one daughter, Nannett Fowler of Emporia; three sons, Stanley Lee of Kansas City, Mo., Robert Lee of Drexel, Mo., and Brian Lee of Overland Park; two brothers, Barney Lee of Americus and Gail Lee of Dunlap; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
A sister, Glenda Hayes, died earlier.
The memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the Shawnee United Methodist Church in Shawnee. The graveside service will be at 3 p.m. Friday at Dunlap Cemetery in Dunlap. The family will meet friends from 6:30 to 8 p.m. today at the Amos Family Chapel of Shawnee.
