Marjorie A. Still, Chillicothe, Mo.
Former Emporia area resident Marjorie A. Still of Chillicothe, Mo., died Wednesday, Feb. 14, 2007, at Hedrick Medical Center in Chillicothe. She was 77.
Mrs. Still, formerly of the Galt, Mo., area worked at Trenton Foods in Trenton, Mo., before she retired.
The daughter of Marion and Frances Grover Roberson, she was born Oct. 16, 1929, at Hiawatha. She married Omer Kenneth Williams on Nov. 17, 1948, at Kansas City, Mo., and they lived in the Emporia area. He died Jan. 24, 1983. She married John Still on Oct. 22, 1984, at Princeton, Mo. He died July 8, 1993.
Mrs. Still is survived by one daughter, Fran Williams of Chillicothe, Mo.; three stepchildren, Jay Still of Kansas city, Mo., Julie Still of Philadelphia, Pa., and George Still of Columbia, S.C.; and four grandchildren.
The graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Monday in Hillside Cemetery, west of Emporia off Lake Kahola Road. The family will meet friends from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the Lindley Funeral Home in Chillicothe, Mo. Friends also may call from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
