Joe Louis Granado

The Mass of Christian Burial for Joe Louis Granado will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. The Rev. Darren Henson will conduct the service. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery. The rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. today at the church, after which the family will meet friends.
Memorial contributions for Mass intentions may be sent in care of the Roberts-Blue-Barnett Funeral Home, P.O. Box 175, Emporia, KS 66801.
Mr. Granado, 215 Neosho St., died Saturday, Feb. 3, 2007, Via Christi-St. Francis Medical Center in Wichita. He was 41.
He worked for Shown-Carter Construction for the past nine years.
The son of Eluterio and Hortencia Ramirez Granado, he was born June 18, 1965, at San Antonio, Texas.
He is survived by three daughters, Nichole Granado and Erica Granado, both of Emporia, and Ashley Granado of Independence; his mother of Emporia; two brothers, Eluterio Ganado Jr., and Francisco Granado, both of Emporia; six sisters, Rosalinda Granado and Jo Ann Aldrete, both of Emporia, Lucille Ibarra and Leticia Aldrete, both of Wichita, and Ramona Barrager and Carolina Tate, both of Independence. His father died earlier.
