Larry Kraus, 67, died Tuesday, Dec. 25, 2007, at the Morris County Hospital in Council Grove.
The rosary will be said during visitation time, at 7 p.m. today at the Penwell-Gabel Council Grove Chapel. The service will be at 2 p.m. Friday at St. Rose Catholic Church. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
Mr. Kraus was born April 12, 1940, on the family farm in rural Alta Vista. He spent his life driving trucks, farming and cutting silage.
He is survived by his wife, Cecelia Kraus of Wilsey. He is also survived by his mother, Mildred Kraus of Council Grove; two brothers, Max Kraus of Alma and Jerry Kraus of Ottawa; and two daughters, Sonja Carroll of Council Grove and Marsha Filkin of Wilsey. Five grandchildren and one great-grandchild also survive.
His father, Leslie Kraus, died in 1990.
