Former Cottonwood Falls resident Vivian Mae Heathman died Tuesday, Aug. 28, 2007, at her home in Rogers, Ark. She was 93.
Mrs. Heathman retired from Beech Aircraft in Wichita and moved from Derby to northwest Arkansas in 1989.
The daughter of Homer and Lillie M. Barber Herr, she was born Jan. 8, 1914, at Alva, Okla. She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Vaden Heathman, who died in 1988.
Mrs. Heathman was a member of the First Christian Church in Derby.
She is survived by one son, Howard Heathman of Rogers, Ark.; two sisters, Doris Heathman of Booneville, Ark., and Leatha Herr of Arkansas City; eight grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
A daughter, Donna Baldwin, a brother, Lewis Herr, and three sisters, Charmion Campbell, Thelma Baker and Velma Keith, died earlier.
The graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Friday in the Bazaar Cemetery near Cottonwood Falls.
