The funeral for Evelyn I. Drummond will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the Roberts-Blue-Barnett Funeral Home chapel. The Rev. Jayne Duncan of the First United Methodist Church will conduct the service. Burial will be at Strong City Cemetery. The family will meet friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Drummond, the wife of former area resident Harry Drummond, died Wednesday, Aug. 15, 2007, at McAlester Regional Medical Center in McAlester, Okla. She was 83.
She was a food service worker for the Long Beach, Calif., school district before she retired.
The daughter of Jacob Clement and Mildred Darling Gallehue, she was born April 22, 1924, in San Diego, Calif. She married Harry A. Drummond on Oct. 6, 1961, at National City, Calif. He survives and lives in McAlester, Okla.
Mrs. Drummond was a Methodist.
She is also survived by four daughters, Linda Hau of Wichita, Bonnie New of Caldwell, Idaho, Janice Bolts of Meridian, Idaho, and Gayle Standridge of Anchorage, Alaska; two sons, Alan Epperly of San Diego, Calif., and Michael Epperly of Oceanside, Calif.; eight grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
One brother and one sister died earlier.
