Pearl E. Green

Pearl E. Green died Thursday, Aug. 16, 2007, at the Emporia Rehabilitation Center, where she was a resident. She was 93.
Mrs. Green was a homemaker.
The daughter of John Calvin and Ruth Keenan Burdette, she was born Feb. 4, 1914, in Kling. She married Edward F. Green on Aug. 22, 1937 in Cottonwood Falls. He died Jan. 11, 1987.
Mrs. Green is survived by a son, Robert R. “Rex” Green of Emporia; eight grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
A son, Edward Gerald Green, died in 2004. Two sisters and one brother also died earlier.
The inurnment service will be at 10 a.m. Monday in Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery, east of Emporia. The Rev. Darren Henson of Sacred Heart Catholic Church will conduct the service. Mrs. Green was cremated.
