Rose Marie Wells

Rose Marie Wells, 933 Elm St., died Wednesday, April 18, 2007, at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita. She was 79.
Mrs. Wells was the first woman realtor in Emporia and also a production worker at Dolly Madison for 21 years before she retired in 1989. After she retired, she worked at the Flint Hills Antique Mall.
The daughter of T.C. and Frances Borer Robinson, she was born April 26, 1927, in Emporia. She married Harold P. Wells. They were divorced.
Mrs. Wells was a member of the First United Methodist Church. She also was a member of the Kansas Association of Realtors and the National Association of Realtors.
She is survived by two daughters, Sandra D. Wells and Susan Tracey, both of Emporia; one sister, Marge Reynolds of Hugoton; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
A son, Hal Wells, died April 7, 1974. A brother, Robert Robinson, also died earlier.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Roberts-Blue-Barnett Funeral Home chapel. The Rev. Keith Davis will conduct the service. Burial will be in Maplewood Cemetery. The family will meet friends from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
