Keith Dale Wendlandt

Keith Dale Wendlandt died Sunday, April 15, 2007, at his home, 24 B S. Commercial St. He was 59.
Mr. Wendlandt worked for Beech Aircraft in Wichita, was a brakeman and conductor for the Santa Fe Railroad, worked at Geotech in Emporia and was a janitor at Emporia State University. He was a member of the Army National Guard.
The son of Verdon and Lorna Schlesener Wendlandt, he was born Aug. 1, 1947, at Herington. He married Denise Lee. They were divorced. He married Rae Ann Glover. They were divorced.
Mr. Wendlandt is survived by a son, Jason Scot Kickhaefer of Houston, Texas; a daughter, Heather Skirvin of Emporia; his mother of Herington; three sisters, Chelly Kay Falk of Herington, Kimberly Ann Smith of Powell, Tenn., and Gloria E. Lamb of Knoxville, Tenn.; and two grandchildren. His father died earlier.
There will be a private family memorial service at a later date. Mr. Wendlandt was cremated.
Memorial contributions to a fund for his granddaughter, the Kimberlie Skirvin Education Fund, may be sent in care of the Roberts-Blue-Barnett Funeral Home, P.O. Box 175, Emporia, KS 66801.
The family of Keith Dale Wendlandt will meet friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Saturday at the Roberts-Blue-Barnett Funeral Home.
