Gary George Ellis, Hammett, Idaho

Gary George Ellis died Friday, April 13, 2007, at his home in Hammett, Idaho. Survivors in this area include his wife’s parents, Warren and Betty Dunn of Emporia.
Mr. Ellis served 21 years in the U.S. Army, including a year of service in Vietnam. He was the VFW State Commander of Idaho, 2006-2007.
His wife of 40 years, Frances Dunn Ellis, survives, along with one daughter; two sons; his mother; two brothers; one sister; and six grandchildren.
The memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Hammett Community Church in Hammett, Idaho. After the service, there will be a reception at VFW Post 3646 in Glenns Ferry, Idaho. Inurnment, with full military honors, will be at 3:30 p.m. Saturday in the Idaho Veterans State Cemetery at Boise, Idaho.
