Joyce Krom, 67, of Americus died April 4, 2007, at St. Francis of the Resurrected Hospital in Evanston, Ill.

AMERICUS
The funeral for Joyce Marie Krom of Americus will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Roberts-Blue-Barnett Funeral Home. Mrs. Krom will be cremated after the service. The family will meet friends from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Krom died Wednesday, April 4, 2007, at St. Francis of the Resurrected in Evanston, Ill. She was 67.
She worked in housekeeping at the Ranch House and Best Western motels for 25 years before she retired 25 years ago.
The daughter of Clayton and Lucille Schuck Coop, she was born Feb. 14, 1940, at Yakima, Wash. She married Howard Richard on Oct. 7, 1956. He died Feb. 12, 1973, at Emporia. She married Larry V. Krom Sr., on May 25, 1974, at Emporia. He survives.
Mrs. Krom is also survived by four sons, Rickie Richard of Clovis, N.M., H. Douglas Richard of Bay Point, Calif., Michael Richard of Mayetta and Larry V. Krom Jr., of Americus; one daughter, Wanda Lara of Americus; two brothers, Martin Coop of Americus and Kenneth Coop of Rockaway Beach, Ore.; seven grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. Her parents and two brothers died earlier.
