Bill L. Taylor
Former Emporia resident Bill L. Taylor of Lansing died Sunday, Sept. 10, 2006, at his home. He was 65.
Mr. Taylor was a banker in Kansas, including Emporia, for many years, and until his death was a realtor with Caldwell Banker, Reilly and Sons in Leavenworth.
The son of Glenn and Myrle Converse Taylor, he was born at Harveyville.
Mr. Taylor is survived by his wife, Janice Thompson Taylor; and daughter, Carol Taylor of California. A son, Craig Taylor; and a brother, Dick Taylor, died earlier.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in Meyers Family Funeral Home at Kansas City. The graveside service will be at 2:30 p.m. Thursday in Wilmington Cemetery. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
The family suggests that, instead of flowers, memorial contributions be sent to the Lansing United Methodist Church Building Fund, 207 E. Kay St., Lansing, KS 66043.
