Wanda Mae Pyle

Wanda Mae Pyle of Elmdale died Friday, Sept. 1, 2006, at Morris County Hospital in Council Grove. She was 92.
Mrs. Pyle and her husband, Thomas, ranched together near Elmdale.
The daughter of Earl E. and Mabel F. Hildebrand Nelson, she was born Sept. 5, 1913, in Saffordville. She married Thomas J. Pyle on June 13, 1935, in Newton. He died Feb. 22, 2001.
Mrs. Pyle was a member of the Elmdale United Methodist Church.
She is survived by nieces and nephews.
Three brothers, Don Nelson, Kenneth “Bud” Nelson and Daniel “Danny” Nelson, died earlier.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Brown-Bennett-Alexander Funeral Home in Cottonwood Falls. The Rev. John Hastings of the Elmdale United Methodist Church will conduct the service. Entombment will be at Elmdale Cemetery in Elmdale.
Memorial contributions to the Chase County Health and Rehabillitation Center may be sent in care of the funeral home, 201 Cherry St., Cottonwood Falls, KS 66845.
