Delores “Dee” Wagoner-Myers

Delores “Dee” Wagoner-Myers died Saturday, Sept. 2, 2006, at her home, 102 Peyton St. She was 56.
Mrs. Wagoner-Myers was an administrative assistant for Waechter Trucking and the Natural Resources Conservation Services Office, both in Emporia.
The daughter of Charles B. and Thelma Foster Hartman, she was born Nov. 7, 1949, at Highland. She married Keith Wagoner at Hiawatha. They were divorced. She married Lafe Myers on March 6, 1999. They separated in 2005.
Mrs. Wagoner-Myers was a member of the Messian Lutheran Church.
She is survived by two daughters, Jessica Wagoner and Heather Wagoner, both of Emporia; one stepson, Shawn Myers of Evansville, Ind.; three sisters, Shirley Cobb of Topeka, Donna Ellis of Tulsa, Okla., and Betty Davis of Raymore, Mo.; and three brothers, Charles Hartman, Lee Hartman and Robert Hartman, all of Topeka. Her parents died earlier.
The funeral was today in the Messiah Lutheran Church. The Rev. Norbert Tegtmeier conducted the service. Burial was in Zion Lutheran Cemetery, southwest of Olpe.
