Minnie Jean Adams Worcester, Overland Park

The funeral for former Emporia resident Minnie Jean Worcester of Overland Park will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in Charter Funerals-Emporia Chapel. The family will meet friends from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions to the Alzheimer’s Foundation may be sent in care of the funeral home, 501 W. Sixth Ave., Emporia, KS 66801.
Mrs. Worcester died Monday, Oct. 16, 2006, in Overland Park. She was 85.
She was a homemaker.
The daughter of Floyd and Lula Price Adams, she was born Jan. 21, 1921, in Kelso. Her husband, Estle Worcester, died earlier.
Mrs. Worcester was a member of the Floralore Garden Club and the UTU Ladies Auxiliary.
She is survived by two sosn, Ron Worcester of Olathe and Jerry Worcester of Littleton, Colo.; one brother, Jack Adams of Council Grove; and one sister, Darlene Wilkerson of Council Grove.
One brother, Denman Adams; and three sisters, Louise Pykiet, Dorothy Bowman and Helen Gilbert, died earlier.
