Dolores Maxine Cox

Dolores Maxine Cox, 821 Congress St., died Saturday, Oct. 14, 2006, at Newman Regional Health. She was 76.
Mrs. Cox was a cook at Ethel Jane’s and then The El Dorado Cafe, both in El Dorado, for 20 years before she retired in 1985. She moved to Emporia in 2002.
The daughter of A.E. and Lula Koons Grow, she was born March 28, 1930, at Latham.
Mrs. Cox is survived by one son, Darryl Cox of Emporia; one daughter, Candace Cook-Tharp of Augusta; and two grandchildren. Two brothers, Jack Grow and Danny Grow, died earlier.
Mrs. Cox was cremated. The memorial service will be held at a later date.
