Ina Jeanne Biggs
Ina Jeanne Biggs, 75, of Zionsville, Ind., died Thursday from complications related to Alzheimer’s disease.
She was born May 3, 1931, in Olivet, the daughter of Eugene and Hattie Mann Reeser.
Mrs. Biggs graduated from Olivet High School and received a degree from Kansas State Teachers College, now Emporia State University. She taught briefly in a one-room schoolhouse.
She married Ron Biggs on Nov. 24, 1950. He survives.
Mrs. Biggs received a degree in nursing in 1974, and worked for two years as a newborn nursery nurse and later as an office nurse until she retired in 1990.
She is also survived by one son, Jeffery Biggs; two daughters, Patty Gephart and Jenny Revercomb; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, Jack Reeser, Gerald Reeser and Wilbur Reeser; and one sister, Opal Haxton.
Flanner and Buchanan Funeral Center in Zionsville has the arrangements. The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Zionsville United Methodist Church, with private burial later.
