Emily L. Pinkerton
Olpe native Emily L. “Molly” Pinkerton of Wichita died Friday, Oct. 13, 2006. She was 90.
The daughter of August and Marie Voeste Markowitz, she was born Jan. 23, 1916, in Olpe. She married J.H. “Slim” Pinkerton on Oct. 28, 1944, in Wichita. He died Dec. 19, 2005.
Mrs. Pinkerton is survived by two daughters, Julie Johnson of Emporia and Becky Reynolds of Goddard; one brother, Fred “Fritz” Markowitz of Emporia; and four grandchildren.
Two sisters and two brothers died earlier.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Cochran Mortuary in Wichita. Friends may call from noon until 6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
