Arthur Patterson
Arthur L. Patterson died Sunday, Oct. 8, 2006, at his home near Waverly. He was 88.
Mr. Patterson was a farmer and stockman.
The son of Robert and Minnie Smart Patterson, he was born Aug. 19, 1918 in Vassar. He married Helen Hales on Aug. 14, 1938, at Iola. She died Aug. 7, 1994.
Mr. Patterson is survived by a sister, Anna Mae Hendrickson of Kansas City, Mo.
The graveside service will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday in the Amiot Cemetery in rural Anderson County. The family will meet friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Waverly United Methodist Church in Waverly.
