Willma Esther McElfresh
Willma Esther McElfresh died Sunday, Oct. 8, 2006, at the Osage Nursing Center in Osage City. She was 88.
Mrs. McElfresh was a homemaker and farmer.
The daughter of Blaine and Bertha Mae Whittemore Brim, she was born Oct. 1, 1918, at Medicine Lodge. She married Floyd McElfresh on March 1, 1938. He died in 1966.
Mrs. McElfresh is survived by two daughter, Floy McElfresh of Lyndon and Wanda Estabrook of Ottawa; two sons, Delbert McElfresh of Hiladgo, Texas, and David McElfresh of Ottawa; a brother, Leonard Brim of Hutchinson, 13 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. Two sons, Samuel McElfresh and Danny McElfresh; one brother, Byron Brim; and one sister, Winifred Brim, died earlier.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Thursday in the VanArsdale Funeral Chapel at Osage City. Burial will be in Americus Cemetery at Americus. The family will meet friends from 6 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
