Annabelle Miller

Former Miller resident Annabelle Miller of Blue Mound died Thursday, Oct. 5, 2006. She was 88.
The daughter of Gene and Georgia Troutman, she was born Jan. 14, 1918, at Comiskey. She graduated from Miller Rural High School in May 1935.
She married Dale S. Miller on Aug. 1, 1947. He survives.
Mrs. Miller lived most of her life in the Blue Mound community, where she was a member of the Women’s Division of the United Methodist Church, the Mapelton DT Club and the Lost Creek Unit. She also was a homemaker.
She is also survived by one son, Richard Miller of Stanley; four grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter. A sister, Helen Bassett; and a brother, Clinton Troutman, died earlier.
The service to celebrate her life was held Sunday.
The family suggests that, instead of flowers, memorial contributions be made to the Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in care of the Bath-Naylor Funeral Home, 522 S. Roadway, Pittsburg, KS 66762.
