Douangta Lithmanivorn
Douangta Lithmanivorn was found dead Wednesday, Oct. 4, 2006, at his home, 121 S. Rural St. He was 62.
Mr. Lithmanivorn worked in the sanitation department at Dolly Madison for five years.
The son of Vaonma and Em Lithmanivorn, he was born Dec. 5, 1943, in Laos. He married Home Tsemmavongsa in 1973 in Laos. She survives.
Mr. Lithmanivorn was a member of the Bakery and Confectionery Worker’s International Union of America Local 218.
He is also survived by one son, Khamxaisana Lithmanivorn of Olathe; six daughters, four of whom live in Laos, and Dana Dyke and Aneesa Mann, both of Olathe; one brother, who lives in Laos; and eight grandchildren.
The Buddhist ceremony will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Penwell-Gabel Mid-Town Chapel at Topeka. Buddhist monks from Wichita will conduct the service. Cremation is planned.
