Accessibility Committee meets
The Emporia Accessibility Advisory Committee will meet at 6 p.m. Monday in City Conference Room 2, 104 East Fifth Ave. They will review the self-assessment survey project and discuss a training seminar in March.

Road closing
The Lyon County Highway Department is closing Road G between Road 20 and Road 40 for about a month starting Jan 24. It is replacing a bridge.

The Emporia-Lyon County Metropolitan Area Planning Commission will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the city meeting room No. 2, 104 E. Fifth Ave. Agenda items include election of a chaor and vice-chair and appointment of a secretary, and review of a zoning application for 517 West St.
