Family Night at EPL
The Emporia Public Library will hold a special Family Night at the Library on Tuesday to celebrate Valentine’s Day. Families will prepare a valentine for a sweetheart or a basket to keep the ones that are received. Family Night starts at 6:30 p.m. in the children’s story time room, 110 E. Sixth Ave.
Beekeepers meet
The Flint Hills Beekeepers will be holding a class for beginner beekeepers or those interested in beekeeping from 2 to 5 p.m. Saturday. The meeting will be held in the City Water Treatment Plant conference room in Emporia.

USD 243 meets
The board of education for USD 243 Lebo - Waverly will meet at 7 p.m. Monday in the central office in Waverly. Agenda items include changes in board policies and member districts, approval of a resignation and the City of Lebo agreement.
