The Lebo Wolves were upset in the opening round of the playoffs with a 48-20 loss Tuesday at Lakeside.
The Wolves trailed 28-12 at the half and couldn’t come back in the second half.
Lebo coach Troy McArthur was at a loss for words.
“I honestly don’t know,” he said. “They scored 20 and we scored 12. I’m kind of at a loss for words. You know, against Madison we had the big play, but the big play wasn’t here for us tonight. We had several things that worked well for us but nothing we could sustain.”
Lebo finished the year 8-2.
“It defintely did not end the way we wanted, but I couldn’t ask for a better bunch of guys here in my first year at Lebo,” McArthur said.
