The Emporia Area Chamber of Commerce and the League of Women Voters are sponsoring a Emporia City Commission candidate forum Monday.
It starts at 6:30 p.m. at Flint Hills Technical College, 3301 W. 18th Ave. The forum is free and open to the public.
The nine commission candidates will begin with opening statements and then answer questions from the audience for a half hour. There will also be a meet and greet with candidates.
The Emporia Gazette will live-stream the forum at emporiagazette.com.
