“There are four new wind farms in Ford, Gray, Lincoln, Ellsworth and Elk counties that will be built in 2011 and 2012,” said Kansas Commerce Secretary Pat George. “Millions of dollars of construction investment will be forthcoming, and Kansas contractors can definitely benefit from this building activity. We want to provide the industry background and contacts necessary to help our local businesses become a part of this growing and exciting sector.”

Warren Buffett is working on using wind power to make trains 60% more efficient. The railroad is in the process of leasing more land along the rails for coming wind energy which they can store.

I don't know how they are going to store wind energy, however I am sure there will be a big chunk of government funds and the taxpayers will end up paying the majority of the costs, Buffett will be able to show a big profit because we will pay for the project.

My information came from a railroad leasing agent. I found this on the internet but, it probably doesn't apply to railroads but, it does prove that wind engry can be stored.
