The Hartford boys basketball team came up with a surge and trailed by one point against Burlingame Monday at Hartford. But it was the Bearcats who finished the game strong and took a 64-54 win.
The Jaguars headed into halftime trailing by six points. Hartford came up with a 20-point third quarter to cut the deficit to one point going into the fourth. The Jaguars then went cold offensively in the fourth quarter. Lane Ikerd and Chris Schwinghamer each scored a field goal and Colten Barrett made two free throws, but the Jaguars couldn’t come up with any more offense in the 10-point loss.
