Helpful in Hartford

I woke up on Wednesday to 16 inches of snow that dumped on Hartford for 24 hours straight. This small town was a mess. Unbelievable drifts everywhere. I wondered how we were ever going to get out in case of an emergency. It wasn’t long before I started seeing tractors and farm trucks with blades scraping and clearing every street in town. I saw a couple of tractors with drivers that weren’t even covered so they sat and worked in the bitterly cold temperatures. After the streets were cleared and plowed they started working on everyone’s driveways. I couldn’t believe my eyes. I took a drive around town later during the day and didn’t find one driveway that wasn't cleared.
We have truly amazing people in this town of Hartford. I love living in this small town where people really look after each other. My thanks to John Beuk, Roy Black, Ron St. Bonnett, Ken Varelman, Ernie Chaffain, Gary Romeiser and Micah Eubank. I hope I am not forgetting anyone. If so, I am sorry, and you know who you are. We, the town of Hartford, really appreciate you.

Well isn't that sweet. You forgot to drive the other streets or check to see how much those residents were paying for the service. Each time this happens, the alcoholic in that bunch dumps all the snow he moves onto our yard. The culvert he mashed in a previous incident is still not repaired. Perhaps they will also scoop the mayor's dog that she lets run and do the town a real service.

I personally thought the streets in Hartford were quite nice after such a large snow storm. I too appreciate the persons responsible for clearing the streets and driveways. Way to go guys!
Thank you very much!
