MADISON — The Greenwood County Sheriff’s Office reported that a robbery occurred shortly after 8:15 p.m. Monday at the Casey’s General Store in Madison.
According Rusty Bitler of the Greenwood County Sheriff’s Office, an unknown white male entered Casey’s and pointed a black pistol at the clerk and demanded money.
“The clerk gave the suspect an undisclosed amount of cash and he fled on scene on foot,” Bitler said in a press release.
The suspect is described as being around 5’8” tall, slender build and has dark eyes. He wore black shoes, black pants, black coat, stocking cap, gloves and had a blue bandanna covering his face.
