Lay off the Big Macs

You have probably heard over and over again about how exercise is good for you, heart disease is preventable, and stress should be avoided. Since I’m a teen myself, I understand how you feel. I also know that you rarely pay attention when you are getting lectured. In my Nutrition and Wellness class I am learning about all of this again! So I figured that I would try to make this interesting so that you might actually pay attention to it! Here are some AWESOME things that you should know… BEFORE IT’S TOO LATE, because it really is something that you do need to know, understand, and DEFINITELY will benefit from. Even if it’s not affecting you now, it will at some point.
Want to know how to rev up your energy levels? And even help improve your mood? You guessed it, I am talking about exercise! It’s something that everyone needs. Just because you see “skinny” people doesn’t mean that they are healthy and that you should strive to look like them. Everyone is different! And the “model look” is actually not realistic, its only genetics! So let’s face it, what’s the point in having a nice muscular body if you don’t work for it? So here are THREE simply things that you can do to achieve some GOOD health: exercise regularly, eat healthy, and get sleep! It’s proven that if you are feeling depressed exercise can help by releasing endorphins. So when you are feeling down just go for a quick jog or even a long one, you will have time to think and you will feel better while making yourself better also! When you eat healthy food, you not only promote good health, but you help gain a longer life span. An example would be when you eat foods that are rich in antioxidants; you help prevent yourself from getting cancer. People should definitely start adjusting their lifestyles to be healthier. This not only will help us physically, but would also allow us to make the most of our lives, and enjoy everything that life has to give.
“Eat this not that” The next subject is fast food. People eat fast food at some point in their lives. Although there are some people out there that don’t. People have heard repeatedly through their lives that fast food is bad, but we all know that it taste good so people eat it any ways. I’m not going to say that people should never eat it. But I am saying that people should set a limit to how much fast food they are eating and what things from the menu they pick. Most fast foods contain preservatives and hormones. Fast food is spiked with added sugars and dangerous fats, and with misleading names that might even suggest that you are going to be getting something healthy and nutritious, WRONG! So as I have said yes there are many things in fast foods that you shouldn’t eat, but as long as you eat it in moderation you will be just fine. JUST WATCH THE BIG MACS!

Actually the title of this article was changed by the gazette.
and I would like to state that this article has nothing to do with McDonalds itself, but of ALL fast food places.
This was written to get people to pay attention and learn about their health and some simply easy ways to gain good health.
NOT to bash McDonalds and their Big Macs or any of their food for that matter.
this is to all fast food places!
If people would have truely read this article they would have understood that.

I use "123 Get Samples" to find free samples of major brands online. Please note they update their samples every day but I just pick what ever available at that time and use them.

if mcdonalds doubled the ounces of meat on the big mac, they would have a devoted customer for life.
