Emporia High School band students no longer have to haul equipment in multiple vehicles.
On Friday afternoon Rex Williams, owner of Williams Automotive, handed over the keys to a truck to Robert Haselhuhn, band director at Emporia High School.
The truck was donated to the EHS band with help from multiple area businesses that contributed either money or supplies for the truck.
On Friday students, teachers and administrators gathered at Williams Automotive to accept the donation.

This truck donation brings up several questions: such as
1. Who actually owns the truck?
2. Who will be driving it?
3. Where it be garaged?
4. Who pays for fuel, insurance, maintenance?
5. Will the driver or drivers have to take a
defensive driving course?
There are probably several other things that I haven't thought of yet.
