State Sen. Jeff Longbine, R-Emporia, will be on the road today and Tuesday for a barnstorming tour. Today, his planned stops were to include Olpe, Madison, Hamilton, Lebo, Neosho Rapids and Hartford.
On Tuesday, Longbine plans to be at the Emma Chase in Cottonwood Falls at 8 a.m., the senior center in Council Grove at 3:30 p.m. and on Main Street in Americus at 4:30 p.m.
Because he’s stopping at other towns in the district, the stops are only scheduled for 15 to 30 minutes each.

Good luck in the election Mr. Longbine. After I received Mr. Karr's mudslinging mailer, he most definitely will not get my vote. I thought he would have enough class to keep it clean, but I was wrong. Just goes to show that Mr. Karr lacks the character for this public office. I have lost all respect for him. I am just sick of politicians lying and distorting the truth to try and gain favor from those that don't know the facts. Shame on you Mr. Karr...shame on you!!!
