ST. JOSEPH — Lacy Corker believed.
Not once did Corker doubt that down 18 with less than nine minutes to go that her team could come back against No. 1 and undefeated Gannon on Wednesday night.
“There was so much time left on the clock and we have so many great players on our team that I feel we can always step up and take over in the game,” Corker said, “and that’s what we did.”
Yes, somehow, some way, the Lady Hornets had enough faith to put together a comeback to force overtime.
