Olpe, Madison have LCL 1st-team selections on both sides

Olpe and Madison were represented on both of the All-Lyon County League basketball first teams released this weekend, and Lebo had a selection on the boys side in senior post Brent Gould.
Olpe guard Bradley Argabright and Madison guard Henry Ott, both seniors, joined Gould on the first team, along with Burlingame junior Austin Masters and Waverly senior Josh Teal.
Olpe senior Matt Redeker made the second team, as did Hartford senior guard Adam Ewy. Making the honorable mention list was Lebo sophomore Thadd Barker.
On the girls side, Olpe, which won the Class 2A State title on Saturday, was well-represented, with junior post Kathryn Flott and sophomore point guard Kendyl McDougald both making the first team and junior forward Katelyn Henderson making the second team. Madison’s senior tandem of Morgan Stout and Shelby Buster also both made the first team. Rounding out the first-team five was Shelby Birk of Southern Coffey County.
Joining Henderson and three others on the second team was another area player in Lebo guard Morgan Tastove. The Wolves also had an honorable mention selection in senior Morgan Laflin. Hartford seniors Kellie Farr and Samantha Wilkerson were both selected as honorable mentions.
