Emporia State women’s basketball coach Brandon Schneider has been named the Women’s Basketball Coaches Association Region 6 Coach of the Year.
Schneider, who won his 300th career game in the first round of the MIAA Tournament, has led the Lady Hornets to a 24-5 record this season and to the NCAA Tournament for the 11th time in his 12 years as head coach.
