A meeting Saturday of the Northern Flyer Alliance board of directors is open to the public. According to Emporia City Manager Matt Zimmerman, a member of the board, the meeting begins at 11 a.m. Saturday in City Conference Room 2, 104 E. Fifth Ave. Use the south entrance to the Civic Auditorium where water bills are paid.
Reports at the meeting will include updates on Kansas Department of Transportation’s service development plan, federal funding for Amtrak and coordination of an economic feasibility study between NFA and KDOT.
