The Lyon County sheriff’s department continues to investigate the disappearance last fall of Brian Trester.
Trester, 27, has been missing since October, when the pickup truck he was driving was found unattended and stuck at the intersection of Roads R5 and 75. Trester had left his home in Neosho Rapids and was headed to work at the time of his disappearance.
Sheriff’s detective Jarrod Fell has been investigating information as it continues to come into the department, as recently as last week, Sheriff Gary Eichorn said.
“He made some phone calls, contacted people, interviewed people,” Eichorn said. “We just continually get information, but it’s nothing. It turns out we already know it or somebody was embellishing....”
Eichorn asked that anyone with information about Trester’s disappearance call the sheriff’s office, 342-5545, or Lyon County Crime Stoppers, 342-2273.

This Brian Trester alleged disappearance is really old hat and quite boring ! Perhaps when the statute of limitations has been met this fugitave will miraculously reappear on the radar !
Now if you, chapman66749, wish to bring charges to me, please feel free, that is your right, as is my right to file a counter suit and charges against you also. You see the threat of charges and suits is a two way street , but make damned sure you have proof of your charges, before slinging any threat at anyone !!
There have been a lot of people that have offered to help in any way they could to find your friend, relative, family member, including biscuitboy, who by the way has some very serious problems of his own and is fighting the fight of his life and your tirade about a " tongue in cheek " remark made two months ago is asanine at best and moronic at worst, so " chill out "
